The international activity

Our close international cooperation in exchange of the science-educational  technologies with fire rescue services of different West Europe countries contribute to the effective decision in the preparation of specialists for work in emergency situations.

The mutual trainings of our cadets in Krakiv  postgraduates school of fire rescue service in Poland and their cadets in Lviv state university of vital activity safety MES of Ukraine took place for more than 5 years. For this period more than 200 cadets and science-pedagogical workers of two educational establishments participated in these trainings.

Our educational establishment was visited by the head personnel delegation of   fire rescue service of Lyublin and Schlyons’k region in Poland republic. The guests acquainted with the institute material and technical basis, the peculiarities of the educational process and the professional preparation of the operative rescue service of civil protection workers. The international cooperation with the German colleagues resulted in the very necessary and urgent gift for the institute. Recently the institute fire rescue station car park was replenished with one more unit – the hose pump truck Daimer-Benz, which was presented by the German rescuers. The Bavaria Red Cross paramedical men Yurhend Bertold and Manfred Ayzele had the practical trainings of the medical personnel and the institute workers with the aim of the modern medicine new achievements implementation into the educational process.

 During the trainings which were held in form of unusual discussions the giving of the first aid before medical help at burnings, mechanic injuries, overcooling, superheating, stuffiness, drowning and other emergencies were showed. In the end of April on the basis of the institute the first international science-practical conference ”safety of person's vital activity as a condition of person's stable development in the contemporary society ”.

The science-pedagogical personnel of our institute together with the Europe safety association members (Poland, Krakiv), the International academy of vital activity safety, Zhylynskyy university (Slovakia) and together with other specialists and scientists examined the problems of the ecological safety, work protection in contemporary world. The speakers  reports were about the normative and law basis, the science and practical meaning of these issues in conditions of the urban environment. Since June 2005 with the initiative of Lviv institute of fire safety MES of Ukraine the international trainings as to the emergency situation liquidation resulted in mastering of the educational program by the cadets of the final course. The trainings were held on the territory of inactive today state mining chemical enterprise “Sirka”.
